The HydraLuxx Facial is our signature 75-minute treatment, designed specifically for the demands of skin in Fort Myers. It blends deep hydration, gentle resurfacing, professional extractions, and a finishing massage into a single, deliberately paced facial. It is the most-booked service at Faciallash Lounge for a reason: it works on almost every skin type, and the results show up the same day.

This post is a behind-the-curtain look at exactly what happens during the treatment, what makes it different from a standard hydrafacial-style service, and who it is built for.

What the HydraLuxx Facial is

HydraLuxx is our take on a multi-step hydrating facial built around the climate and lifestyle of our Fort Myers clients. We took the structure of professional resurfacing facials, added longer hydration phases, built in real extraction time, and finished with a lymphatic facial massage that no rushed studio includes anymore.

The result is a treatment that is genuinely 75 minutes of work, not 30 minutes of treatment dressed up with relaxation time. Every minute moves the skin somewhere it needs to go.

Three things make HydraLuxx different from the standard hydrafacial format:

• The hydration step is double-layered. We use a hydrating serum during the resurfacing phase and a separate cooling hydration mask after extractions, so skin gets two full waves of moisture rather than one.
• Extractions are unhurried. Many studios skip extractions to keep the appointment short. We block dedicated time, and clients leave with cleaner pores than a typical facial provides.
• The closing massage is real. A 10-minute facial massage at the end supports lymphatic drainage, reduces puffiness, and gives the treatment a finished, sculpted feel.

The 6 steps, in order

Here is what 75 minutes actually looks like.

Step 1: Skin analysis (5 minutes)

Your esthetician looks at your skin under proper light, asks about your goals for the session, and notes anything new. Sun exposure, breakouts, sensitivity, and recent product changes all factor into how we run the rest of the appointment.

Step 2: Double cleanse (8 minutes)

An oil-based cleanser first to lift sunscreen, makeup, and surface debris. Then a milk or gel cleanser tailored to your skin type for a deeper clean. This step alone makes a visible difference for most clients before we even start the active work.

Step 3: Gentle resurfacing with hydration (15 minutes)

This is the heart of the facial. We use a vortex-style applicator that combines mild exfoliating serum with constant hydration. The result is smoother texture without the irritation of traditional peels. For sensitive skin we use a gentler enzyme; for resilient skin we use a slightly stronger acid blend.

Step 4: Extractions (15 minutes)

By now your pores are softened and ready. We do precise extractions on areas that need it, using a vacuum tool plus manual technique where appropriate. We do not force any extraction. If something is not ready to come out cleanly, we leave it. Forced extractions cause scars; we will not trade a temporary clean for permanent damage.

Step 5: Hydration mask and serum infusion (15 minutes)

A cooling hydrating mask goes on while we infuse a custom serum cocktail tailored to what your skin needs that day: brightening, calming, anti-aging, or balancing. You rest while it absorbs.

Step 6: Lymphatic facial massage and finishing (12 minutes)

The closing massage uses gentle pressure to support lymphatic drainage along the jaw, cheekbones, and forehead. It reduces puffiness, lifts the contours, and gives the whole treatment a finished, non-rushed feel. We close with SPF if you have anywhere to be after.

What to expect in the chair

Walking in: arrive with clean skin if possible, no makeup ideally, but it is not a deal breaker. We will cleanse you fully regardless. Wear something comfortable. The room is dim, the chair is heated, and the music is low.

During the treatment: you should feel cool sensations during the resurfacing step, mild pressure during extractions, and pleasant warmth during the mask phase. If anything feels uncomfortable, say so. There is no benefit to suffering through any step. We adjust in real time.

Leaving: skin will look slightly pink for 30 to 60 minutes, then settle into a noticeable glow that lasts several days. Most clients are surprised by how the next morning looks even better than right after the treatment.

Aftercare for 24 hours: skip retinol, alpha hydroxy acids, sun exposure beyond errands, and intense heat (sauna, steam, hot yoga). Your normal routine the next day. Sunscreen religiously for the next week.
